What we collect
We collect the account email used for sign-in, basic account state, credit balance, payment status, uploaded selfies, generated result URLs, support messages, and product analytics events such as upload, style selection, generation, result, download, and checkout clicks.
Uploaded selfies
Uploaded selfies are used to generate headshots, store your result for repeat access, help with support requests, prevent abuse, and improve operational reliability. We do not sell uploaded selfies.
Payments
Payments are handled by Stripe. We do not store full card details. We store checkout status, package identifiers, credit grants, and payment records needed for accounting and support.
Analytics
We use privacy-conscious analytics to understand whether pages load correctly, whether the generation flow works, and where the funnel breaks. Analytics should not contain uploaded image files.
Retention and deletion
From October 10, 2026 at 00:00 UTC, free headshots are available for 30 days from generation. Download a copy before the retention period ends. Free results created before that date will not be removed under this new rule before November 9, 2026 at 00:00 UTC.
Paid results and images covered by existing paid entitlements keep the existing account-history and support retention policy. Account, payment, fraud-prevention, and legally required records have separate retention periods. The image-storage period does not change credit balances or copies you have already downloaded.
Source uploads are used for processing and retained only as needed for the related result, account support, and legal obligations. Eligible source files are cleaned up with expired free results when they are no longer used by another result or project.
Cleanup runs periodically. Expired results may disappear from generation history, and their download links stop working. Shared files and content needed for existing paid entitlements may be retained longer.
You can request deletion by contacting support@headshotai.app. We process deletion requests within 30 days; this request-processing period is separate from the free-result storage period.
